History

   Fred Giordano Sr. from South Orange, NJ founded Maplecrest Ford Lincoln Mercury in 1963 on Springfield Avenue in Vauxhall,  NJ. It was then, that the passion never left the family. Maplecrest is and always was a family owned business. That itself, sets it apart from larger scale car dealerships and service repair shops that are ran more corporate like. Stephen Giordano, the current owner and son of Fred, talks of how he was born a month to the day of the store's opening; which has employed a lot of family members over the years. As time went on, automobile sales flourished and eventually a sister dealership opened in Mendham. Stephen and his brother took over just about 30 years after the stores initial opening and have seen continued success over the years. Unfortunately, Mercury is no longer sold by the dealership as they are no longer in production.
